Reinstall RAS (Remote Access Services) for Windows NT
  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and click on Control Panel.
  2. Double-click on the Network icon.
  3. Click on the Services tab.
  4. Click on the RAS service.
  5. Click the Remote button to uninstall.
  6. Click OK.
  7. You will be asked to reboot your computer.
  8. When Windows NT reloads, go back to Control Panel.
  9. Double-click on the Network icon again.
  10. Click on the Services tab.
  11. Click Add, select RAS, and follow the prompts.
  12. You will be asked to reboot again.
  13. When NT reloads, RAS will be installed.
