| Netscape Communicator
Basic E-Mail Setup |
- Load Netscape Communicator.
- Click on the menu item labeled Edit, then click on
Preferences.
- Under the Preferences menu, click on the "+" mark
beside Mail & Newsgroups to expand it and click on
Identity.
- The only mandatory fields are Your Name and E-Mail Address.
Remember, your e-mail address is username@sitestar.net.
- Click on the item Mail Servers. Outgoing Mail Server needs
to be mail.sitestar.net and the Outgoing Mail Server Name
needs to be your account username.
- Under Incoming Mail Servers you should have an item labeled
mail.sitestar.net. If not, click on Add, and put
mail.sitestar.net for the mail server and your account
username and click Remember Password.
- Click on OK in order to save the settings you just entered
in.
- Your e-mail client under Netscape is now configured.
