- Double-click the My Computer icon.
- Double-click the Dial-Up Networking folder.
- Double-click the Make New Connection icon.
- Under Type a name for the computer you are dialing, type
sitestar.net
- Click the Next button.
- In the Telephone number text box, type your local sitestar.net access number.
- Click the Next button.
- Click the Finish button.
- Right-Click the sitestar.net icon.
- From the menu bar, click File and select Properties.
- Click the Server Types button.
- Check Enable software compression.
- Check TCP/IP.
- Nothing else should be checked.
- Click the TCP/IP Settings button.
- Select the Specify Name Server Addresses button.
- In the Primary DNS text box, type 205.160.234.1
- In the Secondary DNS text box, type 205.160.234.10
- Click the OK button.
- Click OK again to close the Properties list.
- Close Dial-Up Networking.
- Your Internet connection is now set up.
